We added a pond to the backyard this weekend. We've had the shell for about 5 years and finally decided that we either needed to get rid of it or get it in the ground. Here are some pictures of the finished product. It even has water foliage! Yes even I am impressed with us! This weekend we are going to add fish. The jury is still out about whether we are going to opt for the cheaper pet store variety goldfish or go all out and get some pond variety koi. We'll have to see what's left in the pond fund when it's time to buy the fish I guess...
